Although trained in Ashtanga yoga, Bill has migrated to an eclectic approach that incorporates other yoga modalities, aspects of Qigong and a strong emphasis on breathing and pranayama. Over 20 years ago, yoga became a major influence for him both on the mat and in life. He embraced its’ philosophical principles, focus on health, and completed an initial 200 hour teacher training in 2009. Bill recently studied with Robert Moses and Eddie Stern from the Yoga Education College completing the Level I and II Pranayama teacher training courses. Along with his formal yoga training with Lisa Bondy he studied extensively with breath teacher Richard P. Brown, MD, Qigong Master Robert Peng and Ashtanga teachers Richard Freeman and Sharath Jois.
